Legal experts would be asked to formulate more stringent laws to deal with those who indulge in acid attacks, Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said on Saturday.

The Chief Minister was speaking to media persons on his arrival at Hubballi airport.

Replying to a question about one more acid attack case in Bengaluru, the capital of Karnataka, Mr Bommai said,” it is very unfortunate. We are mulling to further strengthening the existing laws to deal with those who indulge in acid attacks.”

He assured that the government will come out with tough laws to deal with them in the coming days. (ANI)
